We explore all the sounds the different parts of the shoe make, encompassing line, circle and corner work. As their repertoire of Tap Dancing steps increases, our students love learning short themed Dances and Routines, which not just challenge their footwork, but their memory retention and performance style as well.
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Sutton School of Dance Northwich offers Tap Dance Classes in Northwich to boys and girls from 3 years of age through to 18+. Tap Dancing is a very popular discipline developing intricate footwork and rhythmical timing. All our students, especially our younger students, particularly the boys, love to hear the sound they can create with their very own pair of tap shoes. (Here at Sutton School of Dance Classes Northwich, we are aware that our students grow out of their shoes so quickly, therefore we have a tap shoe swapping system throughout the Dance School Northwich, where you hand in your small pair for the next size up.)[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Tap Dancing is one of those styles that when done to a high standard looks effortlessly mesmerizing. Our senior students love not just learning the technical steps for the Tap Dancing Grades, but also experimenting with complicated rhythms, exploring syncopation and learning to Tap Dance at speed, adding in as many tricks as they can! Our Senior Tap Dances always wow the audiences at our Shows, Summer schools and Showcases.
When our youngest students at Sutton School of Dance Northwich master each step, making the same sound as their teacher, from toe taps, heel taps, toe heels and heel toes, digs, tips, stamps and paddles, brushes and shuffles and ‘tick tock bangs’, the looks on their faces just fills us with joy.
